About Mostly Squares
I make square things. Mostly characters. Mostly damaged-looking, over-colored, black-lined, toothy, eye-heavy weirdos.
Iām in Las Vegas, via Chicago. I studied at Columbia College Chicago, where I was already mixing drawing, design, animation, and digital tools before I knew that needed a category.
The work starts wherever it starts: drawing, painting, photos, code, print tests, mistakes. I care less about the tool than whether the image has a pulse. Lately the work has been getting bigger and more physical ā canvas paintings, large prints, and things made to exist outside the scroll.
My work hangs at Barter Mall and other galleries in the Las Vegas Arts District.
