About

Adam Kelsven (@a2thek26), the creative mind behind Mostly Squares, is a versatile digital artist, illustrator, and hybrid creator whose work bridges traditional techniques with digital innovation. His journey has been one of constant exploration, always finding new ways to blend mediums and technologies in unexpected ways.

A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, Adam’s early years saw him learning both the craft of film and animation during a pivotal time in the digital revolution. From physically cutting film and shooting frame-by-frame animation to late-night sessions in computer labs, working with everything from Hi-8 tapes to JAZ drives, Adam honed a skill set that merges hands-on experience with the digital realm.

With over two decades of experience, Adam’s work reflects a dynamic range of influences. His portfolio features abstract photo manipulations, often created in square formats, as well as his Creeps series—scripted illustrations with a nod to the NFT space. His AI Series explores post-apocalyptic landscapes, infusing them with a playful, offbeat sense of humor, where characters and creatures coolly navigate surreal worlds.

For Adam, art is less about chasing inspiration and more about being open to discovery. He finds fulfillment in the process, whether refining workflows, experimenting with new techniques, or letting curiosity guide his next move. Now based in Las Vegas, Adam draws energy from the city’s unique arts scene, constantly evolving his craft.

His work resonates with those who see spaces not as they are, but as what they can become. Adam Kelsven continues to create art that speaks to bold, forward-thinking individuals, leaving a lasting impact without needing to shout.
